Sabu

Sabu (also known as Sawu, Savu,) is the largest of a group of three islands, situated midway between Sumba and Rote, west of Timor, in Indonesia's eastern province, East Nusa Tenggara. Ferries connect the islands to Waingapu, on Sumba, and Kupang, in West Timor. It is also possible to fly to Sabu from Kupang.

We have two sister churches in Sabu. The Taka congregation has 50 members and the Gurijara congregation has 135 members. The two churches support two mission posts, one in Ailogo with 21 members and one in Merapo with 5 members.

One of the church members has donated his house to COL to be used as the boarding home. This boarding home in Seba can house up to 20 children.
